NEUROMUSCULAR UPDATE MEETING 2020
This established paediatric and adult course is in its twelvth year run by consultants from the UCL Institute of Child Health and the Queen Square Centre for Neuromuscular Diseases, Queen Square Institute of Neurology, University College London.
There are 4 registration rates as well as early booking rates: these are consultant, trainee UK (e.g SpR or equivalent), non-UK trainee and allied professionals (e.g. nurses and physio’s)
This clinical course concentrates on childhood and adult neuromuscular
disorders with an emphasis on clinical cases, natural history and management.
This 4 day course is designed for specialists with an interest in neuromuscular disease;
Please note when booking that the first two days concentrate on paediatric neuromuscular disorders
and the latter two days on adult neuromuscular disorders. A programme will be available in due course.
This year we are adding on an additional paediatric physiotherapy day organised by Marion Main from Great Ormond Street Hospital, this is a separate course and requires a separate booking.

Additional paediatric physiotherapy day organised by Marion Main from Great Ormond Street Hospital.
The neuromuscular child with severe complex needs course looks at the multi-disciplinary approach to the weakest of babies and children both in the UK and from Europe; including respiratory management, augmented communication, therapies and palliative care.
