How it all started

Recognising the growing need for reliable and personal accommodation for travelling professionals, Cityhomestay was created in 2015 as the sister company of Doctor in the House.

Doctor in the House was established over 30 years ago, offering homestay accommodation for medical professionals. From small beginnings the company grew, and developed a strong client base of high quality homestay and flat-let accommodation with reliable Hosts.

What sets us apart from our competitors is that we personally visit every homestay and flat that we represent to ensure their suitability. We value the long-lasting relationships that we develop with each of our Hosts with a personal touch that makes all the difference.

What makes us unique

Our accommodation is chosen with you in mind, and while many of our Hosts are centrally located, we also represent accommodation that is further out of the city but close to exhibition centres, institutions and major business centres. So rather than paying over the odds for central hotel accommodation we can find you an affordable place to stay in a quiet residential area close to your place of work.

We provide a tailored service and will help you choose the accommodation that is just right for you. So if you need to be close to a specific area, have an allergy, or special dietary requirements, we will endeavour to find you accommodation that’s best suited to your needs.
